A nice place to stay for a few nights

Nice rooftop bar area. Clean rooms. Amazing reception - hotel is in a converted bank!

A little noisy at times and a walk or taxi to some sites but that is probably the case for everywhere in Mexico City.

Really nice hotel with an excellent location in Centro Historico

Loved the location and cleanliness of the property. The rooftop restaurant was great for breakfast, especially for the warmth of the head waiter, Eduardo.

I know it's a trend in hotels now, and given the high ceiling of the room I understand, but the lack of ceiling for the bathroom does not provide a lot of privacy, noise-wise.

Unique boutique experience in the heart of the city

Impressive and very unique design, comfortable and super clean boutique rooms, kind staff - an overall special and comfortable experience if you’re looking for something with a touch of artistic charm. Very cute rooftop pool!

I was a little lost in the darkness trying to find my room at night - it’s quite dark on the corridors, but then I realized the room numbers are projected to the floor with light - cool :)

Great location. Very nice hotel. Only drawback is most rooms, including ours, have small windows without a view. But we were never there during the day, so no problem for us.

The location was great, quiet, the staff were really friendly and it felt very safe. The rooms and the common areas including the rooftop were super spacious.

It didn’t have any windows in the rooms especially, so it felt a bit dark.

Hotel was well located, clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were noisy and you could hear people outside and in the rooms above and below. The pool is very small and is made to look bigger in the photos. The bathroom in the room was built in a cubicle style and so it was open at the top into the bedroom. The corridors were extremely dark, especially in the evening.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great as a home base for sight seeing. The rooms were quiet and we were able to rest after long days.

We wish the weather had been nicer so we could take advantage of the pool!

Perfect hotel for staying in Centro !

Excellent location. Calle Uruguay is a great street, short and interesting walk to everything. My room was very comfortable, beautiful interior design. Very friendly and helpful staff.

My one complaint would be that they would only provide 2 small pods for making espresso in the morning. And you had to ask the staff for that even, rather than it just being provided in the room. I wake up early every morning and would like to have been able to make ample coffee to enjoy in my room. Had to wait until after 7 to order by room service.

Love this hotel close vicinity to central square, historical area.

Beautiful building and staff.

Toilet not enclosed in the sleeping area. Originally didn’t have room with a window very small so we paid for an upgrade. The view was only of the street but better than no natural light. Tricky door handle had to be recalibrated.

Perfect location for sightseeing by foot in the historic center. Very cool historic building. Nice rooftop area.

Must have been some mechanics above us - strange and loud noises regularly in the wee hours but did not last more than 10 minutes.

Stylish, Quiet and Friendly Hotel Close To Zocalo

Excellent stay and a second visit for us. This boutique hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff, from Sebastian, who checked us in and speaks excellent English, to our housekeeper and her colleague who quickly got us extra coffee pods, to the restaurant staff who warmly welcomed us to the rooftop dining area and the bellhop who offered to check the taxi number to make sure we were getting in the right taxi (our was an Uber) and helped with our luggage. This was a notable improvement from our previous stay 2 years before. Our room with 5 meter high ceilings opened to the 3 story interior atrium. Soundproof doors meant it was totally quiet, although we could open windows to the atrium to let in natural light. The bed was very comfortable and came with 4 pillows, with a menu to select other pillow options if needed. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water and was very clean, as was the room. The location is very convenient to the Zocalo and the historic center and felt safe to walk around in, even during the early evening hours. There's an excellent bakery just a block or two to the right as you exit the hotel called La Ideal. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The check-in process could be quicker. The water bottles provided in the room need to be at least half a liter. Both times we've had to ask for coffee pods. How about offering those at check-in.

A Gem in the Heart of the City

This is a gorgeous, boutique hotel in the heart of major shopping and sights. We moved here after an unpleasant experience with our Air B&B on short notice and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and the wonderful, attentive staff. Our double room was pretty and spacious. The shower and water pressure were great. The rooftop pool and surrounding area were lovely, but the pool was tiny and freezing. It was more for sitting and having a cocktail than actual swimming. The food at the rooftop bar and room service were hit or miss, although the margaritas and guacamole were fantastic. The staff was amazing and the surroundings gorgeous. I would definitely stay here the next time I visit Mexico City.

The biggest complaint is that there was no refrigerator in the room, so if you had food or drinks you wanted to bring back to the hotel after their restaurant closed you couldn't keep them cold. Also, although we had the do not disturb sign out during our stay and I asked the cleaners for water the first day, they never asked us if we needed more water for the other 3 days of our stay. It would have been nice if they had anticipated our need for water, despite the do not disturb. And again, the pool was freezing and more for show than actual swimming.
